As we disliked to be kept in the dark, we are doing our review and summary for the work DONE to prepare for the start of I.V.A. tuition.

If you think I.V.A. is just a name, you're wrong. I.V.A. stands for Intelligent Visual Analysis. Simply put it, it trains you to see just beyond what the questions ask you to do.

Collecting all the data no matter required or not, putting it nicely together. Then from the data, we derive what is needed from the question/s.

After we have all the data, there is no fear if we need anything to help us find out the answer. I.V.A. helps by showing them that if they choose to sort out all the information in a question, they CAN get the answers easily.

Now, back to our topic. What have we done so far? Below is the list. Every point is followed by a short description;

1. Schedule - The schedule is the 1st thing we prepared, since we know which of our days are free. All the classes will be held on Saturdays and Sundays. If not, then on either one of the days.

2. Fees - The rates for the fees are out. You can check the latest updates on fees by clicking on the word 'Rates' above.

3. Tutors' Payout - This is already done. For those who are joining us as tutors, rest assure we have done our homework. As this is a profit sharing system, and a very much fair one. The amount of work you PUT in will be proportional to the pay you get.

4. Publicity - As students currently studying, the money we can use is limited. We are preparing to distribute flyers at primary schools around the location of the tuition centre. This is so we do not inconvenience those living far but interested. This site will be the other one. The rest of the publicity will be done on the internet, via the tutor's blog/ homepage.

5. Fee Payment System - This system IS simplified so as to lessen hassle of fee payments. You want to have your child improving ASAP right? So, let's do away with complicated payments. Just make sure you are not late for fees payment and you can keep sending your child for tuition. Don't worry, it's flexible.

6. Lesson Plan - As part of our work is to ensure close similarity to schools' syllabus, we are planning EVERY lesson beforehand to ensure your child get the most out of every lesson. The improvement will not be consistent. In fact, it will be accelerating.

7. Syllabus Check - We have done a comparison and a check at bookstores and online sites to ensure the currently syllabus is up to date. And if schools skip that topic because it will not be tested, we will save the time for your child and teach all he needs to know.

8. Self-produced Questions - In our weekly meetings, we've decided to save resources from buying books all the time and produce our own sets of questions and guides for your child. Not to worry, the questions will not be easy at all. We are pushing for self-learning and independence. Not in doing more simple questions that will help.

Well, that's all we've done so far. And about thing not done? The venue. The issue remains unsolved. But NOT TO WORRY! Since there is still some time before we can get a venue, we will be making efforts to make our programme better.

Remember, tuition is supposed to help your child to get good results, not to be there to do those questions they know. People say practice is the only way to do maths. We tell you different. THERE ARE SHORT-CUTS. But those short-cuts are complicated. If you can get them, you can take the short-cuts.
